Lisa is a registered dietitian-nutritionist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from Rush University in Chicago. She has been actively working in the field of nutrition for over 30 years and is a well-recognized expert in nutrition for adults.

 

While specializing in nutrition education and counseling for Baby Boomers and older adults, Lisa enjoys helping people of all ages reach their dietary goals. Lisa speaks frequently at senior and community centers in Orange County, California and has given multiple nutrition and cooking demonstrations on local television.  

 

Lisa’s passionate about helping people improve their health through diet and lifestyle change. In the face of widespread, conflicting nutrition information, she is skillful in translating proven science into practical advice on what to cook and eat. Her method underscores that healthy eating doesn’t have to be time consuming or expensive. 

 

In her private practice, Lisa counsels clients of all ages on weight loss, heart disease and diabetes. Through her specialized interest in diabetes prevention, she has partnered with Skinny Gene Project and has brought the Medicare Diabetes Prevention program to Orange County. This effective program is proven to greatly reduce the development of diabetes for those at risk, a reality that affects over 84 million adults nationwide. 

 

Lisa’s love for food and healthy cooking doesn’t end in the classroom or with her private clients. During her free time, she loves to cook and try new recipes at home. She experiments with a variety of ingredients, cooking gadgets, and methods to always be current with the latest trends in at-home meal prep.

 

In an endless pursuit for easy and nurturing home cooking solutions, you’ll be sure to find Lisa whipping up something delicious in her kitchen on any given day.
